Refund policy

At Americankiddo, we want you to always feel confident and satisfied when shopping with us. That's why we offer a simple and straightforward return and refund policy that makes things easy if something didn't turn out the way you expected.

Returns

You have 30 days from the date you received your order to return items. To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must be in the same condition as when you received it
  • The product must not be used or damaged
  • The original packaging and any accessories must be included

How to make a return:

  1. Contact us at support@americankiddo.com with your order number and the item you'd like to return.
  2. We'll get back to you with instructions and the return address.
  3. Pack the item carefully in the original packaging (if possible) to avoid damage during transit.
  4. Ship the item back using a trackable shipping method — for your own peace of mind.

Please note that the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Return Shipping Cost: The estimated cost of return shipping is on average $15–$30 USD, depending on the package weight and carrier chosen.

Refunds

Once we receive your return, we'll first check that the item meets the conditions above. Once everything is approved, we'll process your refund.

  • Refunds are issued within 10 business days of receiving and inspecting the return
  • Refunds are always made to the same payment method used at the time of purchase
  • If the item is used, damaged, or missing parts, we reserve the right to deny the refund or deduct an amount reflecting the loss in value

Exchanges

Would you prefer an exchange instead of a refund? No problem! Contact us at support@americankiddo.com and we'll be happy to arrange an exchange, for example for a different size or product.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you received a defective or incorrect item, we will of course cover all costs associated with the return. Please contact us as soon as you notice the issue, ideally with photos showing the problem, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund right away.
